In this webinar, CAT lecturer Dr Frances Hill explores different types of energy usage, told through the story of a student who ran up a hill, then heated her porridge.

The recording was made 3 June 2020 at the time of the live webinar.

Energy and Power

Using simple numerics, Dr Frances Hill takes us on an exploration of energy, power and consumption by comparing the energy needed to run up a hill, heat a bowl of porridge, run a shower and do a load of washing.
