Home » Join the climate justice movement at COP26
As world leaders gather in Glasgow for COP26, civil society is coming together to demand that climate justice is at the heart of decision-making, and that we work together on transformational change.
Here are three ways you can get involved.
1) Join the Global Day of Action – wherever you are in the world
Across the world people are coming together for a Global Day of Action for Climate Justice on 6 November, with events in villages, towns and cities around the globe and local hubs across the UK.
2) Join the Global Day of Action Digital Rally
6 November, 19:30
On the evening of the Global Day of Action an online rally will bring together activists and campaigners from around the world, with speakers addressing the audience from the main stage in Glasgow.
3) Take part in the People’s Summit for Climate Justice
An incredible programme of events across four days brings together people from across the climate justice movement to discuss, learn and strategise for system change. Events are both digital and in-person, so you can join in online from anywhere in the world, or in-person in Glasgow.
The People’s Summit and Global Day of Action are organised by the COP26 Coalition, of which CAT is a member.
The Coalition is a UK-based civil society coalition of groups and individuals mobilising around climate justice during COP26. Coalition members include environment and development NGOs, trade unions, grassroots community campaigns, faith groups, youth groups, migrant and racial justice networks – to name a few.
