Join CAT students for a free lecture on gender in architecture by guest lecturer Sumita Singha on Wednesday 20 November at 7pm.
We are delighted to welcome Sumita Singha, award-winning architect, educator and author for a lecture as part of our MArch Sustainable Architecture Part 2 Course.
In this hour and a half lecture and Q&A, Sumita who was previously Chair of Women in Architecture and set up Architects For Change, the Equality Forum at RIBA, will delve into the topics explored in her recent book, Thrive: a field guide for women in architecture, and issues currently facing issues architecture students and practitioners.

Speaker bio
Sumita Singha is an award-winning architect, educator and author. She was previously Chair of Women in Architecture and set up Architects For Change, the Equality Forum at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). She is also a trustee of three built environment charities including the RIBA. Sumita received the OBE for services to architecture in 2021.
