How can communities take the next steps on their road to a just transition, engage effectively with wider transition activity, and apply the lessons of our Zero Carbon Britain research at the local level?

Through CAT’s knowledge and training expertise, community groups, businesses, local authorities, and faith groups are increasing awareness, gaining deeper understanding and generating solutions appropriate to the climate and ecological emergencies during their groups visits to CAT.

Our knowledgeable and experienced tutors offer a range of tours, talks, and workshops, aimed at helping your groups through an inspiring process of learning and exploration.

Zero Carbon Britain Training, Workshops, Facilitation and Carbon Literacy Training

The Zero Carbon Britain team at CAT offers a wide range of training services for groups looking to take effective action in the context of the climate and ecological emergencies.  Drawing on CAT’s 50 years of innovation, research and education, on our landmark report ‘Rising to the Climate Emergency’ (2019), and on our extensive work with organisations across the country, we can work with you to help your community group or organisation take the next steps.

CAT is also a leading provider of Carbon Literacy training, and we have a variety of unique courses accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. These training programmes can be a vital part of raising awareness with your organisation and amongst the wider community, and in creating a low-carbon culture fully engaged in and equipped for an effective transition.

Offerings include bespoke strategy workshops, facilitation, team building days, and more.
