Join the woodland ranger on their early morning bird survey along the CAT’s Quarry Trail or through CAT’s Heart Wood.

This activity is aimed towards anyone who would like to learn more about bird recognition, their ecology, and their fascinating language.

Any skill level is welcome.

The Quarry Trail terrain is steep with loose stones underfoot, please wear appropriate outdoor shoes, layers and weatherproofs. Bring binoculars if you have them. If mobility is difficult please let the guide know at the beginning so that the walk can take place through CAT’s accessible, flat, Heart wood in the middle of CAT’s visitor centre.
