Learn the German composting process known as hugelkulture in this demonstration with CAT’s Gardener as she re-pots and re-composts our Container Garden.

Hugelkulure is an inexpensive, environmentally friendly, water- and labour-saving composting process that creates a rich, reliable compost environment for your pots and garden.

It involves the use of layers of materials within pots or containers such as logs, branches, twigs, grass, leaves etc to form a mini-compost system, providing plants with all the nutrients they need for longer.

Our Gardens Ranger Veronica will be on hand to demonstrate the process and answer questions.

Drop in whenever you like throughout the 2hr session.
