Free numeracy courses for adults

Are you over 18 and looking to improve your confidence with numeracy whilst learning key skills that will benefit your future career?
A series of fully funded courses are available to Powys residents who are looking to improve their confidence with numbers in everyday life.
Courses will explore applied numeracy through practical sessions covering green skills in building, energy and woodland.
Courses are based at the Centre for Alternative Technology and run on Thursdays over a six week period.

- Course 1 – 13 June, 20 June, 27 June, 4 July, 11 July and 18 July
- Course 2 – 12 September, 19 September, 26 September, 3 October, 10 October & 17 October
- Course 3 – 24 October, 7 November, 14 November, 21 November, 28 November & 5 December
- Duration: runs over six Thursdays
- Fully funded
- Courses are only available to Powys residents
- Includes: tuition, buffet lunch, contribution to travel
- What to bring: waterproof clothing is recommended – more information will be sent out before the start of the course
