Come and celebrate the return of the sun this spring with our Easter themed school holiday activities.
There are family craft activities in the Straw Bale Theatre every day throughout the holidays, led by the fantastic CAT team. Re-use and recycle everyday items into beautiful crafts to take home and make your own Easter hanging decorations in celebration of the coming season. Spring scavenger hunts are available from the Straw Bale Theatre.
Signs of spring are appearing all around us as nature starts waking up after the long winter months. Pull on your boots and stomp around our woodland trails and seven acres of displays in search of some of the important wildlife species and animal behaviours of the season.
Guided tours are on offer daily – see the CAT site through the eyes of our expert guides. Learn about the history of CAT and how it was transformed from an old slate quarry, discover examples of renewable energy and sustainable buildings around site, and explore how our water systems are all naturally managed from the reservoir up in the hills.
With all this, an adventure playground, the CAT shop, delicious food from our vegetarian café and one of the steepest cliff railways in the world, there’s everything you need to keep the family happy during the holidays.
