Stay in CAT’s cosy Eco Cabins
CAT’s Eco-Cabins are situated just off our main site in the stunningly beautiful Dulas valley, part of the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere. We have two 18-bed Eco-Cabins, providing hostel-style accommodation for up to 36 people.
Each Eco-Cabin has four bedrooms sleeping four people, two single bedrooms and shower rooms and toilets. The bedroom areas open onto a welcoming, open-plan living space with kitchen facilities for self-catering groups. Meals can also be booked in advance from our vegetarian restaurant.
A Unique Educational Experience
CAT and the Eco-Cabins are not on mains water or mains sewage. Instead, we store water from the surrounding hillsides in a large reservoir on site and safely use this for a variety of purposes. Used water passes through the reed bed sewage system where it supports a variety of plant and animal life, before returning safely to the environment. Hot water for the cabins is generated by solar thermal panels on the grass roof as well as via the woodstove for heat and hot water.
