Student Study Retreat

An opportunity to stay at CAT for a study retreat, in January, March and April 2025.

Come and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings at CAT, the CAT library and collection of previous dissertations, dedicated study rooms booked for the retreat, and most of all the company of your fellow students.

The retreat is aimed primarily at those working on their dissertations; however, it is open to all students! An opportunity to dedicate some time to…

• Reading for your literature review
• Getting your head down with writing
• Job applications
• Sharing ideas and experiences with other students

… or anything else you would like to work on! The retreat will be light-touch in terms of teaching staff, it is really a chance to organize some self-directed study.

Accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in WISE will be available to book at the student rate, dates available below. There are also a small number of places available in self-build for a self-catering option (March and April only!). You can book for as many days as you would like.
