Funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund, we are offering free Carbon Literacy Training to people living or working in Powys in the form of short courses, bespoke training or evening classes up until December 2024.

CAT is a leading provider of Carbon Literacy training, and we have a variety of unique courses accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. These training programmes can be a vital part of raising awareness within your community or organisation, and in creating a low-carbon culture fully engaged and equipped to take effective action.

What is Carbon Literacy? The Carbon Literacy Project describes it as ‘An awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.
