Stump Up For Trees

Planting one million trees in the Brecon Beacons area, using innovative public-private funding initiatives.

A community-based charity focused on woodland creation and enhancing biodiversity in the Brecon Beacons area of south-east Wales.

A key goal is to persuade upland farmers and other landowners to include more trees on their farmland and designate a proportion of their land for tree planting, enhancing biodiversity and natural flood management.

Also have an educational programme, taking tree planting into secondary schools in and around the area. Aim to awaken the next generation to the value of trees and the merit of planting trees in the right places.
