Fran did the MSc in Sustainability and Behaviour Change at CAT and described it as ‘life-changing.’ The course allowed her to enter a leadership role where she now uses her skills as Outreach Manager for the North of England for the Woodland Trust.
“I heard about the behaviour change course during a great 2-day zero carbon Britain course. The course was life changing, broadened my mind and enabled me to secure a leadership role.”
Fran’s dissertation was on ‘Doughnut Economics and Political Voice’ and highlighted how important political and economic systems are in instigating transformational change. She is now putting what she learnt during her MSc into action at work by integrating aspects such as behaviour change, communicating social change, politics, group work, and facilitation at the Woodland Trust.
“The best things about what I’m doing now is working with a brilliant team, developing my leadership skills and allowing me to put aspects of my MSc in practice.”
