Jacob Calland
Programme and Student Support Officer
Working as a Programme and Student Support Officer in CAT's Graduate School, Jacob joined the team at the end of 2021 bringing with him his experience from managing a FabLab at an independent art school in Kent.
Before joining the Centre for Alternative Technology as a Student Support Officer, Jacob worked as a creative technologist and managed a FabLab at an independent art school in Kent. He also studied Pharmacology, and then went on to undertake a Master’s in Fine Art.
Having recently relocated to Mid Wales, Jacob joined the Student Support team within CAT’s Graduate School of the Environment in December 2021, and is happy to have swapped out the flat Kent coast for more inspiring scenery!
