Situated in Mid Wales, CAT has a range of event spaces available in an award winning building made of sustainable materials.
Our largest meeting space is the Sheppard Theatre with a maximum capacity of 150 delegates.
Sheppard Theatre
CAT’s main lecture theatre – a beautifully designed building built with rammed earth. Capacity: 130
Dulas Room
A ground floor meeting room with AV facilities that overlooks the courtyard garden. Capacity: 40
Garden Room
Ground floor meeting room situated adjacent to the Theatre Foyer. Capacity: 30
Brook Trust Room
Second floor room that offers spectacular views of Tarren Y Gesail. Capacity: 30
Alder and Quarry Room
Both rooms provide a quiet space, overlooking the old slate quarry. Perfect for smaller meetings or breakout. Capacity: 12
Theatre Foyer
Situated adjacent to Sheppard Theatre, this space is an ideal networking or exhibition area.
Cafe Foyer
Next to reception and the CAT restaurant, this space is ideal for group catering or an exhibition extension.
