Virtual Open Day Recording

We’re sorry you missed out on joining one of our Virtual Open Days live. To find out more about studying on one of our postgraduate courses watch the recordings below taken from some of our previous sessions. Hopefully, the recordings will serve as an alternative until we can see you in person or on a live session in the future.

Please note that our Virtual Open Day recordings were updated in June 2025 so some of the information on funding, bursaries, application and enrolment deadlines for those looking to begin studies in September 2025 may have changed since the time of recording. Please check the Fees and Funding, Postgraduate Courses and Apply webpages for any updated information.

MSc and MRes Courses

The recording lasts around an hour and includes an introduction to CAT and the Graduate School, an overview of our postgraduate courses and studying at CAT followed by information for overseas students and entry requirements.

MArch Sustainable Architecture Part 2 course

The recording lasts around an hour and includes an introduction to CAT and the Graduate School, an overview of our Sustainable Architecture course and its modules and a student experience talk by a graduate from the course.

If you’d like to find out more about some of the things mentioned in the Virtual Open Day recording view our prospectus or take a look at the following pages.

CAT is currently only open for pre-booked visits and the best time to visit outside of an on-site open day is during our residential teaching weeks to find out more about studying on a postgraduate course and meet students and staff.

To make the most of your visit, you will need to get in touch with our Admissions Team beforehand, so we can arrange for Graduate School staff to be available to you on the day.

Find out more about CAT’s work, explore hands-on workshops, join family-friendly tours, and interactive displays covering everything from green building and renewable energy to ecology, food growing, and sustainable living.

Please note this is a CAT wide open day. You are welcome to join us as a prospective student or applicant and see the site and facilities, but please be aware there may not be too many Graduate School specific talks or staff to talk to on the day.
