Applications for September 2026 extended
Apply today to start on one of our MSc courses, MRes in Sustainability and Adaptation course, or MArch Sustainable Architecture Part 2 course, in September 2026.
Limited spaces still available for September 2026 entry. Please apply before the 23 July to avoid delays.
We will continue to offer places on a first-come first-served basis which may mean we close some courses at short notice once they reach capacity, so we can continue to offer a high quality of learning for each student enrolling at CAT. If a course reaches capacity, we will then consider any applications on a waitlist basis.
Please note that if you apply and enrol after the 23rd of July, you may experience delays accessing resources and receiving your Student ID from our validating universities. We recommend applying as soon as possible as our Student Support team have already begun to prepare new students for the start of the course, through running online Q&A sessions, supporting you in accessing Teams and providing you with your CAT student email address.

Apply for MArch Sustainable Architecture
For the Masters in Architecture (MArch) course, we ask for: Exemption from ARB/RIBA Part 1 or relevant undergraduate degree; Digital portfolio of work; IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

Apply for an MSc postgraduate course
For the taught postgraduate courses (MSc, PG Cert., PGDip.) we ask for: a Bachelor’s degree, or knowledge and skills equivalent to degree standard; IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) is required for applicants whose first language is not English; Science/higher level of numeracy for MSc SEPDM.

Apply for our MRes course
For the Masters of Research postgraduate course (MRes) we ask for: a Bachelor’s degree, or knowledge and skills equivalent to degree standard; 250-word proposal outlining your plan for the extended research dissertation; IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Overseas students will need to consider student visas, their eligibility to study residentially, and their first language and tuition fee requirements. All students living outside the UK and Ireland are considered Overseas students due to the change to the UK Government fee status.
